Formed in July 2012 by Ben Mowbray and Erik Kylén to realise their dreams of creating mainstream animation, Zygomatic Animation Studios was created as an Inkubator company at the Innovatum centre in Trollhättan, the Swedish capital of film, the home of SAAB and Volvo Aero. On a shoestring budget, the boys from Zygomatic spent a staggering 1100 hours producing their first animated short film, Duffton Friends: Signs of Trouble, which they plan to take into production as an animated series suitable for Web TV and other media.
